New South Wales are the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 Champions.
New South Wales lost the Toss and were 6-83 and looked in major trouble before Brett Lee came to the crease. Brett Lee (49 off 31) and Steven Smith (33 off 26) had a 49 run Partnership which help set up a defendable total of: 9-159.
Brett Lee was then Lethal with the Ball first up, bowling Perkins (0 off 2) for a duck with the scores at 1-1. From then on in it was smooth sailing for the Blues. Trinidad and Tobago were all out for just 118 with 4.1 over to spare.
New South Wales takes home $US2.5 million ($2.69 million)for their efforts.
